Why they work so well together

This is the Dermalogica double cleanse, finished with daily exfoliation. PreCleanse goes first, a cleansing oil that melts away make-up, sunscreen, excess oil and pollution that water alone cannot shift. Special Cleansing Gel follows, a soap free foaming gel that lifts away whatever is left without disturbing the skin's natural moisture balance. Daily Microfoliant then polishes the surface, activating with water to release rice enzymes, papain and salicylic acid that smooth texture and brighten tone.

Oil lifts oil, the gel cleans the skin itself and exfoliation clears the way for everything that comes after. Serums and moisturisers work better on properly clean skin, so this trio makes the rest of a routine work harder too.

PreCleanse 150ml

A deep cleansing oil and the essential first step of the Dermalogica Double Cleanse. It melts away excess sebum, sunscreen, waterproof make-up and pollutants, while conditioning fatty acids nourish skin. It rinses cleanly without clogging pores.

Special Cleansing Gel 250ml

Dermalogica's number one selling cleanser worldwide. A soap free foaming gel with naturally foaming quillaja saponaria, plus calming balm mint and lavender, that leaves skin smooth and clean without that tight feeling.

Daily Microfoliant 74g

The iconic rice based exfoliating powder. It activates on contact with water, releasing papain, salicylic acid and rice enzymes to polish skin, while phytic acid, white tea and licorice help even tone and colloidal oatmeal calms. Gentle enough for every day.

How to Use

Morning and evening: massage PreCleanse onto dry skin to melt away make-up and impurities, then add water to emulsify and rinse. Follow with Special Cleansing Gel, lathered with water and massaged over the face and neck, then rinse.

Daily or as needed: dispense about half a teaspoon of Daily Microfoliant into wet hands, work into a creamy paste and massage onto the face in circular motions, avoiding the eye area. Rinse thoroughly.

We use PreCleanse every evening, even on make-up free days, because it shifts SPF far better than a single cleanse.
