A Korean brand that puts ingredients from traditional Korean skincare into modern formulas at a fair price. Ginseng and rice run through most of the range.

It is best known internationally for its sunscreens, which are light enough to wear daily and leave no white cast. The rest of the range is gentle, hydrating and glow focused rather than aggressive.

There are two and they differ by finish rather than protection.

• Relief Sun Rice + Probiotics SPF50 is the original. Slightly dewy, comfortable on normal to dry skin
• Relief Sun Aqua-Fresh Rice + B5 SPF 50+ PA++++ is lighter and fresher, which suits oilier skin and warmer days

Both sink in without a cast, which is why they get recommended so often. Apply generously and reapply if you are out for the day.

They sound alike and they are not the same product.

Glow Serum Propolis + Niacinamide is the better known of the two. It is aimed at general radiance and evening out tone, and suits most skin including blemish prone.

Glow Deep Serum leans more on hydration and plumpness. If your skin is dull because it is dehydrated rather than uneven, that is the one to reach for.

One sunscreen and one serum is a sensible first order.

Add Ginseng Essence Water if your skin is dry, or Green Plum Refreshing Toner AHA + BHA if you get congested. Dynasty Cream is the moisturiser most people move to, and Ginseng Cleansing Oil is the first step if you wear sunscreen daily, which you should.

Build it up over a few months rather than buying the whole range at once.

Much of it is. The range is built around calming ingredients and does not rely on high strength actives.

Calming Serum, Relief Sun Rice + Probiotics SPF50 and Dynasty Cream are the gentlest places to start.

The ones to introduce carefully are Green Plum Refreshing Toner AHA + BHA, Apricot Blossom Peeling Gel and Revive Eye Serum: Ginseng + Retinal, since those are exfoliating or retinal based. Patch test if your skin reacts easily.

The brand's heritage moisturiser and the product the range was built around. A rich cream aimed at comfort and hydration rather than at treating a specific concern.

It suits normal to dry skin and works well as a night cream if your skin is oilier. Apply it last at night, or before SPF in the morning.
