RETURNS INFORMATION
Once dispatched, delivery is handled by our courier partners, including An Post. Most orders arrive within the expected timeframe, but occasional delays can occur, particularly during busy periods or for reasons outside our control.
Please allow a little extra time, as many delayed parcels arrive shortly after the estimated date. If your tracking hasn't updated or your order appears significantly delayed, contact orders@skinshop.ie and we'll be happy to help.
If an item is missing, incorrect or your order arrives damaged, please contact orders@skinshop.ie as soon as possible — ideally within 48 hours of delivery — with your order number and photos where relevant. Once reviewed, we'll advise on the next steps and arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate. For our errors or damage in transit, we cover return postage (up to €5.95). This does not affect your statutory rights.
If you believe your item is faulty, please contact orders@skinshop.ie as soon as possible with your order number and clear images showing the issue. All reported faults are assessed before a refund or replacement is approved. Where a fault is confirmed, we'll arrange a repair, replacement or refund and refund return postage up to €5.95. If no fault is found on inspection, return postage will not be refunded. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Skincare and cosmetics are personal-use items. For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of products that have been opened or used, even where a skin reaction has occurred, unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect. If you experience a reaction, please stop using the product immediately and seek medical advice if needed. (Dermalogica products carry a separate manufacturer guarantee — see below.) This does not affect your statutory rights.
We always recommend patch-testing new skincare before full use, particularly if you have sensitive or reactive skin. Apply a small amount to a discreet area and leave for 24 hours. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Patch testing helps reduce the risk of reactions and confirms a product suits your skin before adding it to your routine.
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided items are unopened, unused and in their original packaging with any seals intact. Please contact orders@skinshop.ie before returning anything. Once we receive and check your return, we'll process your refund within 14 days to the original payment method; depending on your bank it may then take a few working days to appear. You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. To cancel, email orders@skinshop.ie with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel, and contact us before posting anything back. Returned items must be unopened, unused and in their original packaging. You are responsible for return postage on cancelled or unwanted items, and for the items until they reach us, so please keep your proof of postage.
If your order included a free gift or promotional item, it must be returned along with the qualifying product. If a free item is not returned, its value may be deducted from your refund.
Return postage is the customer's responsibility for unwanted or no-longer-required items. Where a fault is confirmed, we refund return postage up to a maximum of €5.95. Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
We ship to Ireland, selected EU countries and the UK. For deliveries outside Ireland, any customs duties, import VAT or carrier handling fees charged on arrival are set by the destination country and are the customer's responsibility. These charges are separate from your order total and are not refundable by SkinShop. If a parcel is refused or returned to sender — for example, to avoid paying customs — it is treated as a cancelled order. We can only issue a refund once the goods are physically returned to us and checked, which can take several weeks for international parcels, so please allow time before chasing it. Any refund will cover the price of the goods only; the original delivery charge and any customs or carrier costs already incurred are non-refundable. To avoid unexpected charges and delays, please check your country's import rules before ordering. This does not affect your statutory rights.
We don't offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different product, please return your original item for a refund and place a new order.
Items bought in a sale, clearance or with a promotional discount are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty, damaged or incorrect. This does not affect your statutory rights.
If you paid using Klarna or Humm, refunds are processed back to your Klarna or Humm account once we've received and checked your return, and your payment plan is adjusted accordingly. Please continue to follow your provider's payment schedule until the refund is confirmed, as missed payments may incur charges from the provider.
Dermalogica retail products bought from SkinShop.ie are covered by Dermalogica's 100% money-back guarantee: return an unopened product, or one you've reacted to, within 30 days of purchase for a full product refund. Please contact us first for pre-approval, return any free promotional items, and note that delivery charges are non-refundable.
Omnilux devices are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, claimed directly with Omnilux. To make a claim, complete Omnilux's online warranty form. Select "REPLACEMENT" as the reason and, when asked whether the item was purchased directly from omniluxled.com, select "NO."
