Terms of service

SkinShop.ie is operated by SkinShop Ltd (“we,” “us,” “our”). By browsing this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service together with our Privacy Policy, Returns & Refund Policy and Shipping Policy. Please read them carefully. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish and EU law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022.

1. Using our website

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its security, or to introduce any malicious code.
You may not copy, resell or commercially exploit any part of the site or its content without our written permission.

2. Products and pricing

Prices are shown in euro (€) by default and include Irish VAT where applicable; if you shop in another currency, prices are converted and shown at checkout. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout.
We try to display product colours and images as accurately as possible, but cannot guarantee how they appear on your screen.
We make every effort to ensure pricing and product information is correct. If we discover an error in the price or description of an item you have ordered, we will contact you before dispatch and you may continue with or cancel the order.
We may limit quantities, refuse or cancel an order, and withdraw products at any time. Where we cancel a paid order, we refund you in full.

3. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you an email confirming dispatch of your items. We reserve the right to decline orders that appear to be placed by resellers or that we reasonably suspect to be fraudulent.

4. Your account

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the accuracy of the information you provide. Please keep your contact and delivery details up to date so we can fulfil your orders.

5. Third-party links and tools

Our site may link to or use third-party services (for example payment providers such as Klarna and Humm). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites, and your use of them is governed by their own terms. Please review them before use.

6. Invoices and VAT

On request we can provide a receipt or proof of purchase for your order. If you require a VAT invoice for business purposes, please email orders@skinshop.ie and we will be happy to provide one.

7. Liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any breach of your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for the way third-party services operate. Our total liability for any order will not exceed the amount you paid for it.

8. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, courier disruption or supply shortages. If this happens we will let you know and, where appropriate, offer a refund.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place your order is the version that applies to that order.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts. If we are unable to resolve a complaint directly, consumers can seek assistance from the European Consumer Centre Ireland (eccireland.ie).
