Dr Levy Switzerland FAQs

What is Dr LEVY Switzerland?

A small Swiss clinical brand, founded by a doctor, built around a handful of concentrated products rather than a full range.

There are six products in total and they cover a complete routine between them: a cleanser, a serum, a cream, an eye product, a mask and a peel. Nothing is duplicated and there are no variations to choose between.

It sits at the top of the price range here, which is worth knowing before you start. See question five.

What is the Booster range?

Three products sharing the same name and the same idea, aimed at firmness, density and general condition.

  • Booster Serum, the treatment step and the one to start with
  • Booster Cream, the moisturiser that goes over it
  • Eye Booster Concentrate, the same thinking for the eye area

You do not need all three. The serum works perfectly well under a moisturiser you already own, and that is the cheaper way to find out whether the brand suits you.

What is the Radical3 Reboot Pro Peel and how often should I use it?

An at-home peel, meant as an occasional treatment rather than part of a daily routine. Follow the timings on the pack rather than leaving it on longer in the hope of a better result.

Use it on a night when nothing else active is going on. No retinoid, no acid toner, no exfoliating cleanser, and give your skin a day or two afterwards before going back to them.

Wear sun protection the following days. Skin is more vulnerable to sun after any peel.

What is the R3 Cell Matrix Mask for?

A treatment mask for firmness and condition, used weekly rather than daily, and the product people tend to buy when they want the brand for an occasion rather than as a routine.

It pairs naturally with the 3Deep Cell Renewal Micro-Resurfacing Cleanser, which is the brand's exfoliating cleanser, though there is no need to use both in the same session.

Keep it off the same night as the Radical3 Reboot Pro Peel.

Is it worth the price?

Worth answering plainly, because this is one of the most expensive ranges we carry.

If you do not already have the basics right, no. A sunscreen worn daily and a retinoid used consistently will do more for your skin than any luxury serum, and both cost a fraction of this.

If your routine is already solid and you want something at the top end that is pleasant to use and concentrated, then it is a reasonable place to spend. Start with the Booster Serum alone rather than the range, and judge it over three months.

Where should I start with Dr LEVY Switzerland?

Booster Serum, on its own, layered into the routine you already have. It is the product the brand is built around and the fairest test of whether it suits you.

After that, Booster Cream if you want the pair, or the R3 Cell Matrix Mask if you would rather have a weekly treatment than a daily one.

Leave the peel until last. It is the product most likely to cause trouble if the rest of your routine is already busy.
