1. Hold the skin taut to help create a smooth canvas. 
2. Start tracing the pencil at the outer corner of the eye, just above the lash line to the inner corner of the eye, as close to the roots as possible.
3. Use the smudging tool at the opposite end of the pencil to soften and blend.
